Double Loft Lodge

Nestled along the Mississinewa River near James Dean's hometown, Taylor Univ and Indiana Wesleyan Univ, we were originally named Harrisburg, until the natural gas boom of the 1800s. The town was renamed Gas City boasting to grow to a pop of 50 thous, but sadly the gas wells dried up. Visit the Gas City museum at 210 South A St opened 1-4 sat&sun, relax at Beaner Linn Park 701 S Broadway or visit one of our shops. Birky's Bunkhouse

Birky's Bunkhouse is 1/4 of a pole barn that has been converted into a very unique space with 2 sleeping lofts that allow you the option of stairs or ladder. Ground & 3rd floor bedrooms with queen beds and canopys Sleeping loft above kitchen you are unable to stand and has a ladder for access. The other loft has stairs able to stand partially erect. So be prepared to dust off your boots and put up your feet and relax in this comfy quarter's we call Birky's Bunkouse...in honor of former owner

The Rebel Lodge is a fully restored historic brick building located in the heart of James Dean's hometown. lt is right across the street from the James Dean Museum, just around the corner from Main street, and only blocks from The James Dean Gallery. The building will sleep 4-5 with a comfy double bed, a pull out sofa and an additional sofa. It is decorated with fun mid century furniture and decor.
