This log structure used to be a tobacco drying barn inthat was then converted to a cabin residence and has recently been thoughtfully renovated

Spectacular Mountain Retreat

Cottage is the guest house of our country home. Situated on a mountain with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge and access to many hiking trails; biking; fishing and swimming in private pond only steps from the door. Cottage is located within easy driving distance of multiple wineries, Sky Line Drive and Shenandoah National Park; Montpelier; and restaurants and shops. We can accommodate no more than one dog, with prior permission. In April 2023, we again upgraded our internet (see below).

Walk, run, or bike these lightly traveled country roads to access the trail heads. This newly remodeled mountain retreat is updated with modern decor and all the essentials for an unforgettable mountain getaway.

Inside, the spa-inspired bathroom offers heated floors & towel rack, and a soothing shower with five massaging heads. The kitchen is fully equipped, and you can enjoy al fresco dining using the outdoor Napoleon grill. Relax by the indoor wood fireplace or outdoor fire pit (firewood provided).

Cabin at Rabbit Hollow

Charming log cabin nestled in a glen by the Shenandoah National Park is an ideal retreat for a romantic get-a-way. The first floor contains a beautiful kitchen, dining area, full bathroom featuring a whirlpool tub, and cozy living room with a wood burning fire place. The second level holds the bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and a half bathroom. There are two porches where guests can relax with their morning coffee or evening cocktails while enjoying the wooded and mountain views.

Relax in the sauna after a day filled with hiking and an al fresco meal on the deck. Roast s’mores at the deck fire table or over the side yard fire pit.
