Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Max. 20 minute by car to several amazing nordsealand golf clubs. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Unikt og familievenligt sommerhus. Huset består af to soveværelser og et stort og rummeligt køkken/alrum. Terrassen er stor og omkranset af en indhegnet have - velegnet til hund og børn. Haven er gået i skov med stier, der jævnligt slåes. Huset opvarmes med pejs, brændeovn og varmepumpe. Der er vaskemaskine og opvaskemaskine. Arresø ligger 5 minutters gang fra sommerhuset og 10 minutter væk ligger restaurant Tinggården. Området er præget af natur og sommerhuse og skønne strande i cykelafstand.

Very centrally-located place. Grocery shopping is also with in walking distance plus there are 3 small pizza restaurants and a local pub. Trains & Buses to Copenhagen and the North coast are only a 5 min walk away. District towns, such as Gilleleje with a beach and a harbour with a cozy atmosphere. Larger towns such as Hillerød and Helsingør both with historical castles and shopping . If you would like a nice day trip it is possible to take the ferry from Helsingør to Helsingborg in Sweden.

It has one main room with two beds put together, a separate kitchen for simple cooking and a bathroom. The terasse has a roof and is surrounded by flowers, trees and bushes. Suited for a romantic getaway.
