Maple Roost is a locally owned and managed 1,750 sf cottage one mile from Columbia's historic downtown Square and within walking distance to the James K. Polk Home & Museum. Located on a quiet street in the historic district of "Muletown," our 2 br/2 bath home is fully outfitted for staying in and relaxing, while its central location is ideal for exploring the many locally owned shops, boutiques and antebellum homes in the area, as well as the bucolic farmland and rolling hills of Maury County.

Whispering Waters Cabin by the Creek

Whispering Waters offers a quiet space to relax and enjoy your time spent away from home. It is a four room cabin adjacent to Caney Fork Creek, which feeds into the South Harpeth River in Fernvale. The cabin easily hosts four guests. The queen size bed is complimented by a sleeper sofa in the living room, which sleeps two as well. It's an intimate space located in a lovely setting. Not your ordinary BnB! A complete nature emersion. Unique camping vacation underground near Nashville, TN. Unlike other places, we provide a private gated driveway separate from our home's driveway. Come stay in the cedar Gully huts where you have your own chickens, veggies and property. You won't run into other customers here, this is a secluded getaway. Be a farmer for a weekend or hang out by the fire pit, hike to the creek and waterfalls or pick from our food forest or veggie garden.

Pleasant Valley Farm Dairy Barn writer's retreat

Dairy Barn circa 1950 nestled next to a pond on 680-acre Pleasant Valley Farm. The "Dairy Barn" was fully functioning until the 1980s. Although completely renovated, the original ceramic tiles remain in what was the milking bay, now a cozy den. The aged metal that was once the roof, now adorns a kitchen wall, island & cabinets throughout. Less than 1 hour from Nashville. Perfect for travel nurses & other medical professionals. Oft-visited by artists, songwriters & authors alike.

Walking trails, parks, great views of the duck river and a splash pad for the kids is located just across from this home. Local farmers market every Tues, Thurs and Sat. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the views, and the location. My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

My studio cabin is surrounded by hardwood trees, walking trails, and graceful meadows. There are plenty of family-friendly activities nearby including a disc golf course, The Farm Community, antique shopping, Amish markets, and the best BBQ in Tennessee. You’ll love staying in this quiet, peaceful cabin in the woods because of its coziness, high ceilings, natural light, and location. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Pets are welcome with advance notice.
