Cozy Vintage Cottage in the Woods

The studio cottage is located in an east Portland neighborhood bordering the city of Gresham. It is close to public transport (near a MAX light rail station), the airport and outdoor activities (the Columbia Gorge; Mt Hood) and is a 20-30 min drive to downtown. It's cozy (eclectic vintage style), a wooded 1-acre setting within the city limits, and has secure premises (electric gate). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Please no young children.

Super clean, amazing suite located on Mt Scott in Happy Valley. Located in the lower level of our home, with 1700 sq ft., two bedrooms, new queen beds and full private bath. Separate entrance and patio backing on to a wooded green space. Patio is equipped with chairs and a Traeger grill. Huge great room with big screen TV and fireplace. Dining area and fully stocked kitchen. Combo washer dryer, ironing board and iron are available in your suite for your convenience.

Rustic Creekside Cabin

This tranquil hideaway feels like you're in the middle of the forest, but is just minutes from Portland. Relax next to the burbling creek surrounded by towering cedar trees. The MAX Orange line and downtown Milwaukie are only five minutes away. Built in 1928, the cabin has one bedroom and bathroom, living room, full kitchen and central heat. The bedroom has one queen bed and an en suite bathroom. There is a pull-out queen futon in the living room.

The Woodlands Hideout

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.

Your private apartment is located on a wood filled lot with a private outdoor area, shade and even deer on occasion. We are 12 miles from the airport, near freeways with easy access to downtown, and to make your way to the coast or the Columbia Gorge, Mt Hood and the Willamette Valley for wine tasting. We have added extra cleaning procedures to help fight against Covid 19.
