The annexe

A charming, spacious annexe situated in the heart of the Shotley peninsula, with easy access to the Rivers Orwell & Stour. Tucked away down a small lane, leading to a network of pubic footpaths, the Annexe is seperate from a grade 2 listed property, with ample parking, and a gated courtyard and patio area. The accommodation consists of a large open plan Kitchen/dining/living area and one bedroom with en-suite toilet and shower. The living area also has a small sofa bed available on request.

The Well House

This carefully renovated out building is the perfect, peaceful base, to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and surrounding attractions. The local shop, pubs and butchers are within easy walking distance. Discover the many delightful walks through the countryside and along the rivers. The picturesque Alton water, with it's walking and bike trails, is less than a mile away. Bikes and various water craft can also be hired at Alton Water. Perfect for couples and small families.

The Old Stables. Detached and full of character

On the Suffolk Essex border surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of wildlife lies our old late 18th century stable building. Just 5 minutes off the A12 and you are in a different world. We live in the thatched Farm Cottage, the oldest part dating back to the 15th century and the stable is situated at the end of the drive. Excellent location for cycling (on the National Cycle Route 1), or visiting Jimmys Farm just 4.9 miles up the road. Walking is a must or just relax and unwind!

The Annexe

Light self contained Annexe in the lovely rural village of Chelmondiston, near Ipswich. The village contains shops, pubs and the River Orwell, and all are within walking distance. Plenty of parking, with own private entrance and west facing patio to enjoy the Suffolk sunsets. Two TVs and compact but full kitchen with washer / dryer. Well-behaved pets are allowed but please keep on lead as the outside space is not fully enclosed. Premier Inn Mattress. All bookings via AirBNB please.
