The Cabin -Skowhegan

Main floor has living area, kitchen and dining area, 1 queen bed, with a daybed and trundler. Loft has 2 twin beds. The couch could be used as a bed, full bathroom. Has no kitchen sink but has a kitchen area with microwave, large air fry oven, fridge/freezer, toaster and coffee maker, iron/board. Also has TV, DVD/Blue ray player, Gas BBQ (May to November 1st.), as well as a picnic table, out door fire pit. For guest who are traveling by plane, towels are provided, upon request.

We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

A 30 min drive to downtown Waterville where you can find shopping and dining places for the whole family . Enjoy fishing , swimming and more right outside your door . One room open concept cabin with a loft. 1 queen size bed in the loft, bunk twin beds down stairs, full bathroom with shower, full kitchen with pots/pans and utensils. Ladder to loft is just that, fairly steep and narrow. The address for this location is not recognized on maps. Directions will be provided. No wifi, no tv. Unplug and enjoy.
