Nestled in our private, quiet, sunny garden is Elsie the kitch caravan and annex. Attached annex doubles the space, includes toilet, shower, alfresco living, fridge/freezer, convection microwave, induction twin cook top, sink, leaner and barstools. Private access and off street safe parking. Suits seasonal workers, travellers or BTI students. Longer term stays welcomed. Quiet respectful guests please, altho coffee or a drink on the front deck to soak in the view welcomed. Sweet tabby cat here

Quintessential Kiwi Beach Bach

Our classic Kiwi Bach sits on the ever-changing Pātaua inlet. Relax on the deck and watch the tide wane in and out while the kids play on the beach. For more excitement, paddle, swim, kayak or simply walk around and over the footbridge (perhaps do some "bombs" off it on the way) to the surf on the North side. Navigate the vast inlet and mangroves in our kayaks and float home on the incoming tide. In Winter, get cosy by the fire or simply pop on the heat pumps. Furbabies are welcome too.

Dorothy the bus at Harthouse Haven

We are proud to announce that we now have another unique airbnb experience to offer. Our trusty Dorothy has been lovingly restored and fitted out ready for you to come and stay. She's a 1968 Bedford bus now residing under cover on our land; 11 acres in the shadow of the Brynderwyns, 5 minutes from beach and easy reach of the markets, shops, cafes and restaurants but in a quiet and peaceful location. The bathroom is a separate structure with a flushing toilet and hot shower with great pressure.

Our 1950s campervan has been refurbished with beautiful Macrocarpa wood, milled onsite. Situated on a 450 acre beef farm, it is yours to explore. Stunning views looking out west over the Manukau Harbor and north across to the Waitakere ranges. Relax and recharge as you enjoy the off grid experience. No electricity onsite however, their is a USB port to charge your devices and battery powered lights. Tents are welcome to be set up to accommodate more guests. Message me for more details.

Fleetwood Mack Housetruck in Pirongia

Stay in a Housetruck built from recycled/reused materials on the back of a Mack Truck. A Queen bed in the front loft and one single bed in the back. The Housetruck has basic kitchen facilities. Jug, toaster, fridge and microwave. A shower inside the truck, it runs from a califont so is set to one temperature using one tap. Please note that the toilet is located in a separate building about ten steps away along with the washing machine. You have unlimited private access to these.

Whale Bay Surfacaravan

Suracaravan is a renovated caravan, set inside its own private courtyard. It’s a 1 minute walk to Whale Bay and access to “Indicators”, that deliver some of the best and most consistent waves a surfer can find in the country. The caravan is a 12 minute drive from the main township of Raglan. Renovated by host Peter, it’s a cosy, private and funky nod to the past. The caravan is a great place to stay if you want to access the excitement of Raglan, but want a private place to get away to.

The UniversiTree is founded amidst majestic limestone formations and mature trees. Below us are the Waipu Caves with their sacred, underground passages. Deep in nature, we are 12 km from the coast. With natural beauty everywhere, a retreat and a “Tree of Life“ arboratum are being created. Unusual rock formations, open spaces, a limestone cave system, the near Bream Bay and native forest with Kauri trees all unite and give voice to an enlivened spirit. Adjacent to the bus is a bathroom.
