Overlooking the Chilterns, dating back to 1740 Marquis House was originally a pub. The Barn is where the beer was kept, but now it offers sumptuous accommodation for you to relax. Independent access and self contained for your privacy. The Barn has everything you need including a log burner and 50" TV in the lounge, a hand made King Size bed and an extensive kitchen including a dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine (open the stable door to take in the view). Optional log fired hot tub.

Conveniently situated for; Flitwick Train Station with direct trains to London every 15 minutes. The Pine Loft, Shillington

Modern self-contained studio apartment, complete with kitchen, en-suite and living space. Located at the start of the Chilterns area of outstanding natural beauty, offering great hiking and outdoor activities. Near the historic town of Hitchin, full of independent cafes, restaurants, shops and entertainment venues. The Pine Loft is on the side of our 19th century home in Shillington (a rural village boasting two walkable gastropubs) fully sealed off from the house once you are inside.

Pennyfathers Annex. Detached, Bright & Spacious.

Set in the grounds of a pretty, historic, thatched cottage, Pennyfathers Annex offers the perfect base to explore the surrounding Bedfordshire countryside and Barton hills with easy access to London and Cambridge and a short drive from Woburn Abbey, Wrest park and Bletchley Park. There are Pubs and Restaurants in the local villages, some just a walk away. We can even offer pre and post flight relaxation and parking for your time away, as we are a short taxi ride from Luton Airport.

The Acorn - Detached, clean and quiet

Brand new detached house in an elevated position above a quiet rural lane. Great night skies and horses in the field next door. Outside sitting area and private parking. Lovely king sized double bed with views and high quality bedding. Local eggs provided for breakfast. The Acorn is in the heart of the village so it’s very easy to walk anywhere and find 2 great pubs. There is also a Co-op store in the village. Fully refundable booking settings up to 5 days before stay

Comfortable and Cozy One Bed

Everything you require for a relaxing stay. All pubs, restaurants are in walking distance. It’s a 3 minute walk or so to Biggleswade Train Station which takes 34 minutes to London Kings Cross. Local town markets on Wednesday and Saturday. If your driving, then it takes 7 minutes from the A1M motorway. Please note you will find some personal items of mine in the flat as I live here too when not working away from home. I do not stay at the flat when guests are there.

The Flat at Shuttleworth House is a unique self-catering apartment within our Grade II* listed mansion. Once a family home, now a bustling weddings & events venue, Shuttleworth House is as unique as they come when planning a getaway. The House itself is not open to the public and you will not have access during your stay, however, you are able to make the most of the incredible views of the parkland take a walk and enjoy the peaceful tranquillity of our site.

The Barn, Haynes in Central Bedfordshire is located in Haynes, near Shefford, 35 km from Knebworth House, 36 km from Milton Keynes Bowl, 25km from Woburn Abbey and 27k from London Luton Airport. This property has free private parking, free WiFi, is non- smoking and an outdoor dining area. The holiday home is ground floor level, has 1 bedroom, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a fully equipped kitchenette with towels and bed linen also provided.

Adjoining, yet separate to the main house, the Pavilion is so-called as the garden was once the village bowling green. Delightful views of National Trust Tudor dovecote and stables. A perfect base for riverside walks, cycling and water sports. Mainline train stations Bedford and Sandy are 15 minutes drive away.

The Little Hop House, a cosy one bedroom barn

The Little Hop House is a beautifully restored 250 year old building expertly converted from an Old Hop store to a one bedroom annex. It has a well equipped kitchen, living room, large bedroom and bathroom, making this unique space perfect if you are working in the area, a weekend get away or visiting the beautiful historic city of Cambridge. A log burner and under floor heating will ensure your stay is cosy and snug even in the winter months.
