Ian and I welcome you to a taste of country life and country noise, an hours drive from Auckland City. The Shed offers peaceful rural and water views plus the occasional visit from wild deer and peacock. Nesting swallows on the porch in case you have a fear of birds! It is a restful stop on your travels, or an escape from the hustle bustle of life. Stand alone with a garage between it and the main house. You will love this newly build accommodation, inspired by modern European country style, set against a backdrop of magical native bush. The accommodation is separate from the main house. We are 5 minutes drive from the village with its numerous cafes & restaurants as well as Te Uru Art gallery. World renowned beaches and other bush walks are within 15 minutes drive.

Our spacious one bedroom guesthouse is attached to our house but completely separate with its own entrance and off-street parking. Guesthouse comes with its own full kitchen, modern bathroom, living area and a study. We also provide linen, towels, tea and coffee. We are close to vineyards, shops, west coast beaches, restaurants, mountain biking, tree adventures and lots of other retail services. Our place is suitable for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers.
