Possibility of an extra mattress for a child/minor in the bedroom (total of 4 guests). Kitchenette with the basics, fridge, coffee machine, microwave and household equipment. 6 minute drive to downtown Akureyri. Great place for stopping in the capital town of north Iceland. Quiet and family friendly area.

The house is beautifully located in Hjalteyri. From the house there is a stunning view over the fiord, with both mountains and water in sight. The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities. Hope you will enjoy our cottage house and its surroundings. Hjalteyri offers a restaurant, art gallery and a public hot tub by the ocean.
