There’s a café, Ginger Ninja, just around the corner and 2 fish and chip shops close by - Delish and Mr Grumpy’s. A 4 Square grocery store is close too.

Putara base camp feature a fully equipped kitchen, an open plan living area and dorm style sleeping area (6 beds are on the mezzanine floor, access is only by a ladder) with a capacity of 10 guest. You also have the option to pitch a tent. A separate ablution block with 5 showers and toilets. Nice big fenced grounds for the kids to play and have their little adventure. The Tararua forest park offers beautiful bush walk and is located 5 minutes down the road and great swimming holes nearby.

We have 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and the third with four single beds (these are both bunks), an open plan living space and a sunroom with bifold windows allowing you to enjoy those sunny Foxton beach days We have a fully fenced section, with lots of toys, kids DVDs, and beach gear making this a perfect set up for those with kids All linen is provided (folded on beds), guests can make up the beds of their choice.

Kotare Cottage

Kotare Cottage is tucked away in a peaceful rural setting, close to the Ohau River and to Kuku Beach but only 10 mins drive to Levin township. Out of the kitchen and dining room windows are expansive views of the Tararua Ranges, catching the early morning sun and late afternoon sun from the deck and the lounge windows. It is an open plan 3 bedroom cottage with a log fire for the cooler evenings. There is a full kitchen, separate toilet and bathroom with large shower.

Positioned in a sleepy beach cul de sac you will find 'The Smurf Shack' - This is a complete property and not a Bach on someone's back section. A perfect escape back to those sepia memories of yesteryear.
