Serene and welcoming,Sundari Retreat was built in 2008 and is close to all amenities in Otaki. My home is bordering a very pretty farm and is sunny and private. Sundari is a self contained cottage on my property and is decorated in Balinese style with a bamboo ceiling and solid timber floors. The furnishings and artwork are also Indonesian as is the sub-tropical garden and deck area. Two minutes drive away are all the cafe's, restaurants,shops and heated swimmimg pool. You will find a boutique movie theatre in Waikanae, 15 mins drive from Otaki. 5mins walk to Skintech Beauty clinic for great massages/nails etc. 10 mins drive to Te Horo , head towards the beach and you will find Kirsty's bus stop cafe in Sims Rd. The bus is situated amid a gorgeous coastal garden. Kirsty is an ex deli owner and caterer. I guarantee you won't be able to resist her treats! Head off to the beach,walk in the bush,play golf, go mad in the outlet shops or do nothing at all! What ever you need to relax and spoil yourself, the choice is yours! Soak in the outside bath under the stars! Fabulous brick outside fireplace is also great for cosying up to under the stars. If there are 3 of you I do have a very comfortable retro caravan on the section that can be hired for an extra cost. That person would have to use the studio bathroom facilities. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. We have 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and the third with four single beds (these are both bunks), an open plan living space and a sunroom with bifold windows allowing you to enjoy those sunny Foxton beach days We have a fully fenced section, with lots of toys, kids DVDs, and beach gear making this a perfect set up for those with kids All linen is provided (folded on beds), guests can make up the beds of their choice.

Rose Cottage, Foxton Beach

This is your get-away house. It is very clean, has comfy beds, in a quiet neighbourhood and a relaxing outlook. Walk to the beach in five minutes or drive in one. The house has a good layout for 2 adults and 2-3 children; or 4 adults. It is not suitable for 5 adults. There is no TV but there is WIFI. No rentals > 2 weeks and prices are as indicated. All linen and towels included, with a full kitchen.
