Majestic mountain views on every side at this quiet cottage. Drive down a long winding lane, to arrive at this peaceful setting in Lost River Valley, home to Idaho’s tallest peaks. It is situated close to Mackay, (approximately 6 miles) and hosts many ATV and hiking trails. Mt Borah trailhead, Idaho’s tallest mountain, is 20 miles up the valley. The reservoir, and rivers are ideal fishing spots. We now have high speed Internet, so this is an excellent place to work remotely.

This idyllic 40 acre ridge-top ranch cottage offers you a peaceful getaway near Coeur d' Alene. Enjoy wildlife and livestock during your stay. We allow up to two dogs at a fee of $20 for each pet. Deer, wild turkeys, eagles and wildlife will keep you company. We offer a 15% discount for week or longer stays.

Cook up a few fresh eggs in the kitchen, and you might notice our hens wandering through the backyard flower garden. You can enjoy skiing, hiking and other outdoor fun in the nearby area. Originally a milking shed, the Cottage is full of character! It's best used by two people, but four could fit in with the sofa bed.
