Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy surround-sound tunes, or have a spa-like soak after hitting the nearby trails. As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.

The Owlz Downlow

“Artists’ Paradise!” This 500 sq ft one-bedroom storybook cabin (ideal for just two adults - no parties!) was built in 1930 by Idyllwild miners and is hidden on an acre of thick woods with private hiking trails where you will discover a large hovering UFO, 2 real crashed airplanes, among other artifacts. It is also home to the owner’s vintage Jeep and motorcycle collection. Every room is filled with original rock and roll themed art projects and the kitchen ceiling is a museum unto itself.

The Far Out is a classic A-frame cabin nestled in the beautiful woods of Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mountains. This mountain retreat sits on an acre of land, complete with a 1200 sq ft wooden deck and semi-sunken hot tub. The cabin rests a pleasant 8 minute/3 mile drive away from downtown Idyllwild. The tactile rock formations visible from the main deck of the cabin are easily accessible from the main road, and only 2 minute walk from the cabin.
