Our home is from the Victorian era on the southern most point of Lake Springfield. It was completely lost to fire in 1991, and rebuilt. It is spacious, 5000 square feet on two sprawling acres with park like arbors and trees. The ceilings for each floor are 12 feet high, so it provides an environment for period furniture; items with charm and character. The room celebrates Lincoln in a grand yet comfortable fashion. The Airbnb cleaning and sanitizing protocol is used to keep the area guest ready.

It is also tastefully decorated with art and antique furniture giving it a very unique and boutique feel. Because the house is perfectly situated between downtown and Washington Park it is ideal for those doing business in the city center or tourists visiting the historic sites. A pleasant walk from the campus of Eastern Illinois University and two blocks from downtown area, the McGrady Inn honors its heritage, a United Brethren church constructed in 1919.
