Adirondacks Garnet Hill: pristine lake, privacy

Winter: Park at ski shop. Ski in/out cabin is ON the trail system. Private, cozy, fully equipped cabin at Garnet Hill in the ADK forest. Gas fireplace, grill and screened in porch. Steps from hiking trailheads. Access (not lakefront) to protected 13th Lake with sandy beach. Two one-seat kayaks come with the rental. Mountain biking (cabin is on the trails), white water rafting, and tubing nearby. Please note: this is a NOT a hotel/condo or business Airbnb. it has been in our family for 30 years!

CAMP HUDSONVIEW

Dizzying views of the Hudson River! Sweet cabin modest in scale, simple and pure to not detract from the richness of the views, offering a fresh, invigorating sense of just what is needed, nothing more. The rugged primitive siding was harvested from on-site cedar trees; the knotty pine interior was locally sourced. Friends gifted a claw foot tub and historic farmhouse sink. Enjoy an optional hot tub experience in our Japanese spa or our lovely new cedar sauna! Close to Gore and Garnet Hill!

Waterfront Artist Retreat

Our camp is located the heart of the Adirondacks in upstate NY . It is a beautiful four season cabin on Lake Abanakee . The camp is adorned with Adirondack art and furnishings made by my artisan friends and I. Lake Abanakee is a favorite for canoes, kayaks, photographers, fishermen and families. Enjoy glamping in our new screened in lean to or swimming and boating from our private beach. Although our camp looks like a rustic retreat, we have high speed internet and all the modern conveniences.

Enjoy kayaking, tubing, fishing, or swimming in Adirondack Lake, there are tubes To float on and a dock plus floating dock to swim out to. It is a few minute walk to town for dinner, drinks, entertainment. 20 minutes from Gore Mountain, many hiking trails. Just a short walk or drive to launch your canoe or kayak from the lakefront access with swimming/fishing dock. This house is ideally located with hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting or skiing close by. In winter, snowmobile trail system can be accessed from the lake! Or simply relax and enjoy the sounds of nature from your Adirondack chair.

Or, relax at the cabin and enjoy the spacious, fenced in backyard with family, friends and pets. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles and/or snowmobile/boat trailers.

Pet fee $75 per pet per stay must be paid at time of booking. Must bring dog blankets and pick up after the dog.
