Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. We invite you to come...... and experience country life.

Beach Style Lakeside Mini Cottage Idle Zone

Beds/NO LINENS Showers/ NO TOWELS Kitchen/sink mini fridge no stove outside grill, fire pit, and cast iron provided. Dishware, silverware, and cooking utensils provided. Things you will need to bring: Linens, pillows, towels, dish rags and personal hygiene items. We will provide enough trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap to get you started after that its renters responsibility. We have state certified kilm dried firewood for sale $6 bundle. Coffee Pot take both grounds and k-cups. 4 lawn chairs.

With its raw poplar walls, the cabin offers a full-sized bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, air conditioning, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. This cabin is on a private property that guests will have all to themselves while they are here. You will have access to an eat in kitchen, living room, private bathroom, and a loft which has two beds. This cabin comes w/channel dock space on the S. side of Lake Webster. There is space for your boat & water toys to bring along w/ you or rent items @ a marina while here.
