Anglesey cottage, stunning sea view, dog friendly

Our family cottage is full of character and charm and has been in the family for over 90 years. Built in the 1820s, it has lots of original features; open fireplace, yet has the comforts of modern living ; wifi, central heating. Versatile and very comfortable trundle beds, which convert to either a single, twin or king size in bedrooms- sleeps 4. A peaceful, rural location with stunning sea view over the bay, a dog friendly pub 8 mins walk away and 30 mins walk down the hill to the beach.

This is a cottage you will love spending time in. Its warm and cosy rooms with exposed beams, make it a year round destination. There will be no shortage of help in the kitchen where the imposing arched window frames the stunning view of Amlwch Port and the ever changing sea beyond. The renowned Anglesey Coastal Path is on the doorstep and for anglers it's just a short walk to fish from the harbour wall or arrange fishing or sightseeing boat trips. Wonderful beaches, great places to visit.

Moel y Don is a beautiful waterfront cottage set right on the edge of the Menai Strait Wake up to the sound of the water, enjoy quiet evenings under big skies, and feel completely immersed in nature. Perfectly positioned just minutes from sandy beaches and on the coastal path. We’re only 5 minutes from the A55 making Moel y Don an ideal base for exploring the very best of Anglesey & Eryri. Situated in the perfect costal location - just a short stroll down the high street and you can explore Cemaes bay’s two beaches, as well as Anglesey’s renowned coastal path boasting breathtaking cliffside views of the sea. A rejuvenating walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path gets you to Traeth Llanddwyn Beach, where you can take a dip or a paddle or walk around Llanddwyn Island nature reserve, before returning for a snug evening in front of the wood burner. We love to welcome all guests to our converted dairy Tylluan Wen (Barn Owl) which is a stone building attached to the main house. The cottage can sleep up to 4 persons in one double and one twin room. We are a growing smallholding with alpacas, sheep and chickens. We also have two dogs.
