Wheatlands is a magical place! Experience the comfort and luxury of Wheatlands Country House which sleeps 10 guests in 5 spacious bedrooms. Built in 1912 this historic home boasts high, pressed ceilings, wood panelled walls, beautiful handcrafted stained glass windows, book lined corridors and antiques that have been collected through generations. We are a working wool and mohair producing Karoo farm in the heart of the Eastern Cape, situated 50 km south of the attractive town of Graaff-Reinet.

Fisherman's Cottage in the beautiful Karoo

Situated on the R400 dirt road between Jansenville and Somerset East, this cottage is the ideal getaway from the city. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you! The cottage is pet friendly and self-catering. There is no WiFi but there is cell reception. Some activities to keep you busy during your stay on the farm include: fishing, walking, bird viewing and cycling. The cottage is situated next to a dam.
