Breweries, art galleries, restaurants are close by. You can walk or bike to the 93 mile Lamoille Valley Rail Trail from our home. Our shed is available for storing your bikes, kayaks or skis.

We are 5 minutes from Smuggler's Notch Ski area. 4 VT ski areas are close; Stowe 40 minutes, Sugarbush 70 minutes, Jay Peak 52 minutes & Bolton Valley 50 minutes. Always wanted to experience a real Vermont log cabin? This classic Vermont cabin near Smugglers’ Notch is ideal for skiers, hikers, and outdoor lovers. Enjoy the warmth of a gas fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and an in-unit washer/dryer. Your furry companion is welcome. A comfortable, well-equipped basecamp with Wi-Fi for authentic Vermont adventures. In winter, the direct route over the mountain between the log cabin and Stowe is closed. The drive around is approx. 50 minutes.

In the winter months you will need to take a 50 min detour around the mountain to Stowe. Enjoy cooking in a warm, well appointed kitchen.

On 14 acres with a brook, it’s a short walk down a dirt road to a historic covered bridge and town common.
