Private, small, sunny, self contained modern stand alone apartment just 8 minutes, 7 kms drive from Taupo town centre. On hill near lake with great lake views across to town, between North & South Acacia Bays. Open plan kitchenette/dining/ lounge. Microwave, airfryer, electric pan, rice cooker. Heat pump/ Air conditioner. Bedroom (king & single bed)with compact bathroom leads onto private deck (lovely view across lake) with table, 2 chairs and weber bbq Maximum 2 guests. The location is brilliant, overlooking Acacia Bay’s popular swimming and kayaking bay. Walk to the water in two minutes. The boat ramp is a short two min drive and we are seven minutes by car to Taupo township. The perfect spot for your next break. The views are amazing! A special Kiwi experience!

Wifi available. Enjoy our one bedroom apartment overlooking the lake, town & Mount Tauhara. Whether its a romantic weekend for two ( no children) or a base for your adrenalin packed holiday around the central plateau, you will find our cosy cottage an ideal base. Please note,great views also mean a bit of a climb. We have 33 steps up to our door. If you have mobility needs please check the photos before booking. This apartment block was built in 1976, so does look old and tired on the outside.

Only a few hundred metres walk to Acacia Bay Beach to swim (or fish for trout) in the super clean freshwater lake. Oh, and the peace and quiet from this side of the lake. The cottage is modern, comfortable, & fully self-contained inc WM, drier and laundry powder. Only 7km to Taupo town centre so close enough to experience all Taupo township has to offer.

Just down the hill is Whakaipo Bay recreational area with calm swimming waters and access to the W2K track. Our home is perfect for anyone who is looking for a rural outlook only minutes from town. It is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the view!

Spacious, self-contained 50m² apartment located in quiet Acacia Bay, magnificent lake view day and night. Private entrance, no common area with the landlord. Private bathroom, new washbasin. The kitchen has been renovated and is equipped with electrical stove, new dishwasher, portable gas cooktop (can be used outdoor), microwave, fridge, kettle, air-fryer, and toaster; teabags and instant coffee are provided. A washing machine and a new heat pump cloth dryer are also provided for free.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

Semi detached sunny compact studio joined to main dwelling by deck located on our lifestyle section. Studio has a deck divided from the main dwelling by a screen for privacy. Private entrance/lock box. Kitchenette, continental breakfast provisions on first morning supplied - microwave available (no stove top or oven) . Samsung Smart TV (Freeview TVNZ+ etc), you will require your own subscription for streaming services. Off street park. You will need a car as there is no public transport.
