Langwell Bothy has two rooms with vestibule entrance where modest coffee/tea bar is set up. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster and small refrigerator, including a sink, NO COOKER. Main bedroom has view over to Hoy island. The second room has a double bed/couch. (If 2 guests & need 2 beds, please message this) There is a shower room/toilet/sink (wet room) accessible only from the second room. The second room has two views over looking the main house garden and views towards Stromness.

North Walls Kirk, situated on the picturesque island of Hoy, has been lovingly renovated to provide an extensive and unique self-catering property. Work has been done with minimum conflict to its original purpose and with the retention of many of the original features. The spectacular gothic arched windows mean that the space is bathed in light of a particular quality giving an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. Furnishings have been selected to compliment this unique style and environment.

We have big skies here, stunning sea views across the Pentland Firth to Orkney (and Isle of Hoy) and along the north coast to Dunnet Head. If you enjoy stargazing you’ll love it here on clear nights as there is no light pollution - and if you’re staying in winter you may be lucky enough to see the northern lights.
