We welcome you to stay in our guest house: A renewed log cabin on three acres at BV's western edge. This quiet, in-town location is a good base for Arkansas Valley activities. A few miles east of us is Cottonwood Pass with hot springs, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. Or, bike or walk a mile to the east for restaurants and shopping, the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond. Note: There are many pet-friendly options nearby, but we do our best to provide an allergen-free studio for guests.

Hawk's Nest is a peaceful studio apartment located on the edge of Buena Vista, with inspiring views of Mt. Princeton and the Collegiate Range. Watch the clouds blow over the mountain peaks or view the sunset from this cozy 500 sq. ft. studio apartment, above the garage. We are just a 1.5 mile walk to downtown, 2 mile walk to the Arkansas River, 10 minute drive to both Mt. Princeton Hot Springs or Cottonwood Hot Springs, and about an hour drive to Ski Cooper and 45 min. to Monarch Mountain.

This is a small studio space with everything you need! Attached to the main house but completely private, you have a fully stocked kitchen and private bath and entrance. A comfy queen bed and memory foam loveseat futon round out the accommodations. Two small children will fit on the futon, but four full-size people would require you to utilize a twin air mattress we can provide. If you are looking for affordable and comfortable in BV, this is the spot for you! Basic but cozy and clean!

This 1-bedroom, 1-bath home is just one block south of Main Street and a few blocks west of the Arkansas River. The bungalow has just the basics for those looking to unplug for a bit. This affordable option was originally built as railroad worker housing, and I bought it as a raft guide/teacher over 15 years ago, and used it as my first home and base for adventure. Now I love sharing it with others. Rustic and affordable- for those who don't need fancy, but like being close to town

Hike, bike, fish, climb, ski, boat, ride a horse, or pet a goat, the Ark Valley has a lot to offer, and our guest house is a great location to set up base camp. The house is located 4 blocks West of downtown in the quiet, residential heart of BV. Take an evening stroll through McPhelemy Park or out to the Peaks View walking path to catch the sunset over Mt. The cottage is small and cozy with a king bed in one bedroom and a queen in the second room. The two rooms share a single bathroom. The living room, kitchen and patio are well-stocked and ready for a comfortable stay.

With electricity, ceiling fans, heat, a fire ring, and picnic table, Cabin 8 offers comfort and convenience while staying close to campground amenities. Dogs are welcome for a one-time cleaning fee.</p>
