Nestled along the banks of the Rock River under tall oaks, ye ol cabin was built by early settlers in 1907. Legit rustic charm. Secluded yet only 10 mins from the fun town of Oregon. 100 acres of private property, bordering Lowden-Miller State Forest. Includes use of canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, deck, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after first 2 people. The Fox Den / Midcentury A-frame

Our A-Frame is a mid-century gem with everything you envision in a cabin, plus all the comforts of home. It features a private dock with access to the Fox River and the Chain of Lakes, as well as direct entry to the Silver Creek Conservation Area. Located between the Fox River and the northern end of the Silver Creek Conservation Area, it’s only 1:15 from Chicago and 1:30 from Milwaukee. The ideal spot for a couple’s retreat, a small family adventure, or a solo escape to reconnect with nature.

The cabin is located on Grand Bear Lodge Property, which has an indoor water park (admission to water park NOT included, but public day passes are an option if the lodge is not at full capacity), making this the perfect place for families to stay! The property also backs up to starved rock state park, for those seeking more adventure and nature during their stay. Come find peace and tranquility in this cozy cabin hideout!

There is a wood dock for fishing and a concrete dock with large gazebo for sunbathing. Enjoy hiking paths, sit by the outdoor fire cook up some smores and watch the stars. Family gatherings of up to 25. Rain won't ruin your party! Plenty of room inside and in the garage with large tables and chairs.
