Capricorn Restcamp, Bungalows & Camping

Capricorn Restcamp is situated next to the Naukluft Mountains making it an ideal stop-over en route from Windhoek to Sossusvlei or from the South to the coast. the four bungalows are all equipped with twin beds, own shower & toilet, warm water, terrace, fireplace (braai) and electrical lights. Extra Bed is possible. Parking places are close to the bungalows. Guests can settle and enjoy the view from the terrace of the bungalow and relax after a long day driving, they can also take a walk (botanical walk) and discover the numerous indigenous plants of the region. Here you find a variety of birds from the Namib Desert, Naukluft Mountains and from Central Namibia. We provide four camp sites with shadow netting, fireplace (braai) and benches/tables. The camp site has a communal toilet- and shower house. Breakfast, cold lunch and dinner are served at the terrace or in the dining room. A sundowner at the Naukluft-View-Point or at our bar would be the real highlight of your stay with us. Just 40 km from the entrance to the Naukluft Mountain Park (D 854) the camp is a good start position or a comfortable basis for any excursion (hiking & 4x4) into this fascinating park.Only 136km to Sesriem, visit the famous Sossusvlei and the Sesriem Canyon.

610 Nokeng Street in Auasblick is spacious modern fitted open space with sliding aluminum glass openings giving a great sunset view. This place is fitted with one queen round bed and one single bed. It has access to cleaning services. The price is for one guest. Each additional guest attract additional charges. If you are in a group, book 2nd Nokeng, Auasbliek room to stay together.

If you are driving in a northerly direction on the main road of Otjiwarongo, turn right into Henk Willemse Street in the centre of town at the four way stop at Spar. Proceed for about 800 m and turn right at our Sign indicating the Crocodile Farm. Proceed a short distance on the dirt road to our entrance gate. Welcome!
