The home has lovely sitting areas and galleries displaying master level art of the Newari Tradition. Minutes walk to the old city and all monuments.

Tahaja is a peaceful getaway with traditional Newar architecture and a large, quiet garden. It is located among rice fields, just 20-minutes' walk from Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a World Heritage Site. Designed by renowned architectural historian Niels Gutschow, this unique place blends heritage with comfort and rustic charm. Home-made dinner, breakfast and tea/coffee are complimentary. No road access! Guests have to walk around 5 minutes on a footpath through the fields to reach the property.
