Nestled behind a pohutukawa tree on the water’s edge, Kawau Treehouse is a peaceful year-round escape with easy access to fishing, kayaking, swimming, snorkelling, and bush walks. With no roads or shops on the island, it’s a true retreat for relaxation or adventure. The house sleeps up to 6 across 3 comfortable bedrooms and includes full kitchen and entertainment amenities. The Store | Matakana

Sept 25 | The store has just had some upgrades to make your stay more comfortable while still in keeping with an upcycled rustic shed on a rural property 3km from Matakana - ply interior, concrete floors covered with jute rugs and kilims, and a covered outdoor space to relax and bbq. A rustic country theme which will not suit guests wanting new and modern. Our linen bedding, hand loomed cotton towels, handmade ceramics and Real World products add some luxury. We have Starlink to enjoy Netflix
