The beach is a golden, sandy Blue Flag beach making it one of the safest bathing spots locally. The Pollock Holes are natural deep-water swimming pools in Kilkee and Kilkee Cliffs offers beautiful cliff walks. Places of interest nearby include Loophead peninsula, Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, Trumps International Golf Links, Dromoland Castle .

Own transport is advised, limited public transport is available 500 m from the house. Covered shed available for motorbikes. Owner lives next door. (House in front).
