The cottage has three bedrooms, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen with stunning views of the River Shannon. 30 minute drive to Adare Manor and Ballybunion Golf Club, Limerick Greenway and an hour away from Killarney National Park. Tarbert/Killimer ferry to Burren National Park and Cliffs of Moher 5 minutes away. An hours drive from Shannon and Kerry Airports.

The Old Schoolhouse is a beautifully renovated house which was originally the local national school built in 1887. All rooms in the house have breath taking views of the Shannon estuary. The house has wooden floors and ceilings throughout and a balcony where guests can sit and have breakfast overlooking the river. Labasheeda is a peaceful village on the Wild Atlantic way within easy reach of Kilimer Car ferry, Loop Head, Kilkee, the Cliffs of Moher any many more beautiful sights.

This cottage is one of six cottages in a restored courtyard . Each cottage is individually designed with lots of attention to detail. On arrival the guests will be greeted with freshly baked scones and a welcome basket. Fresh flowers in all the rooms and fires and candles lighting in the winter months. It’s very well situated as a base from which to tour, 20 mins to loop head, 40 mins to Tarbert Ferry to Kerry, approx 60 mins to The Cliffs of Moher.
