The Chesnut Cottage is the perfect quaint romantic getaway or rustic writer's retreat. One of three AirB&B listings on our 10-acre property atop Harper's Hill, it is surrounded by woods and a short walk up from the Puget Sound where you can fish from Harper pier or kayak over to Blake Island. The Southworth ferry terminal is just over a mile away providing direct access to both Seattle and Vashon Island. Harper is the perfect base camp for exploring the beautiful Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

This is a paradise in the city - a cozy getaway when you need to relax; just 5-10 minutes walking from the best West Seattle has to offer along with easy access to parks, beaches, and restaurants, venues, and tourism downtown. You will have your own private: entrance, patio, two-person sauna, room (bed, TV, and work desk), bathroom with heated floors, and small kitchenette. *Note - this is the private 1st floor of our home, completely separated by floors and doors.

You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. A short walk takes you to coffee shops and vibrant Columbia City is just 1.4 miles away with a convenient light rail station in the center of town.

The entire east wall is floor-to-ceiling windows with views that peek through trees and show glimpses of Lake Washington. Sunrises can be enjoyed from bed, or experience total blackout with floor to ceiling vertical blinds. Cozy queen bed featuring an organic mattress with an Avocado topper and linens. Full kitchen with brand new appliances, big walk-in shower with a luxurious steamer. W/D included.

Vibrant studio guest house. Every comfort was thought of as this studio was designed (and used primarily for) visiting family. This studio offers 2 queen beds (one in a bedroom that can be sectioned off with a curtain and one as a pull out sofa in the media area), a gorgeous bath with a separate sink/vanity space, a pull down desk work space and a full kitchen with an eat- in bar that seats 3. Internet: WiFi 6, Ethernet ports, 1,200 mbps ISP. 2 foldout desk options provide work spaces.
