9 Millburn Street is in the beautiful artists town of Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway . Comfortable, homely and a little bit quirky, this property has 3 double rooms, a bathroom, a large family kitchen ,lounge with open coal fire, day room/ utility room. The enclosed back garden has an outside toilet, a newly renovated art/craft studio with running water and is secure and can be used for storing bicycles, golf clubs etc. Two well behaved dogs welcome, please include dogs when booking.

The Sea Cubby, Private Holiday Lodge, Portling.

The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

The Old Fish House

Everybody loves The Old Fish House! With stunning river views it is a beautiful and peaceful cottage, yet a three minute walk from the nearest shop and the harbour. It is a great and relaxing base to enjoy the culture, coastal scenery or walking around the area. The house is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families and we love well behaved dogs. There is a staircase between kitchen/diner and lounge so the cottage may not be ideal for children under 4 years old.

Carrick Shore, Coastal home private entry to beach

Spacious beach house with private enclosed garden, ample parking area with private access down to the beach. Well equipped for family life. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. TV and Wifi. Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.

CORBIE NEIST: Overlooking Kirkcudbright Harbour.

Corbie Neist is a sunny, top floor apartment overlooking the Harbour Square and the Moat Brae in one direction and the Church gardens in the other direction, both of which catch the summer sun at different times of the day. With lobby space for parking bicycles, it is an ideal base for exploring all that Galloway has to offer, whether on a bike, on foot, or touring. Within minutes of the front door you will find many coffee shops, tea garden, galleries, restaurants, take aways, museums.

Travel a little to sample the delights in the local area like the chocolate of the Cocoabean Company. Enjoy a walk to the local pubs for lunch at Gatehouse of Fleet or Borgue. For a special evening meal The Ship Inn at Gatehouse of Fleet has lovely locally produced food. car essential, no public transport.

There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.

Built in 2000, the Annexe is a modern attachment to the owner’s home. Designed with privacy in mind, it is situated above the property’s double garage and is accessed by a private external stairway.
