Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

A forty-five minute drive away from Reykjavík, in the beautiful fjord Hvalfjörður and by the lake Meðalfellsvatn, the cottage Sólvellir is located. With the cottage comes a garden and a terrace with barbeque facilities and a hot tub (only for Sólvellir1 ). The cottage includes a private bathroom with a shower, a kitchen, TV and a free WiFi. The surrounding area is full of nature and has many exciting hiking trails, and during the winter there is a high chance of northern lights.

Stunning villa with amazing 360 views, great location close to the golden circle and the capital region (only 30 min drive). The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people. Excellent location--only 45-minutes to Reykjavik and Thingvellir National Park. Close by to Glymur Waterfall and many great hiking paths. A GREAT PLACE FOR WATCHING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS. For summertime visits (July), we have bug sprays available for the no see ums (Lúsmý) as well as window nets.
