Raw-Real-Rustic - Mudhouse in Midst of Nature.

Its a Mud House built with Mud, Woods and Stones and tried to keep it raw and rustic. Being close to the nature, we kept it in sync with the surrounding ecosystem.It has Round Mud Bed with direct view of backwaters and space for four to sleep. Also has wooden bunk bed in other bedroom with attached washroom.Hall with a music system, Mud Sofas with beautiful artwork.Also, has a small tiny meditation cave with a bed to sleep for two. A kitchen with earthen hearth cooking can be used by the guests.

The Art Village Karjat, conceived in the mind of an artist - is a boutique hotel for artistic stays and eco getaways. The project is spread over 7 acres of farmland and has been built with earth as the primary medium. This village can house upto 24 guests only. The Kondhan home is a Mud-Brick house. Built in 2013 with locally available materials and least disturbance to the existing landscape. It blends with the tribal houses in the area. We were inspired by the famous Architect Laurie Baker and his philosophy. Mud walls/Terracotta double roof Tiles/ Wooden Pillars and beams connected by bearing and pintles/Terracotta flooring/2 open bedrooms. Price includes breakfast. Lunch and dinner, if needed, would be charged extra.
