Dark Horse provides stylish self-contained villa accommodation near forest and beaches on the stunning Barrington Coast, NSW. Fantastic relaxing beach escape

Our property is in the quiet town of Old Bar only 50 meters from the beach,with just a short walk to restaurants and shops. It has great ocean views to chill and relax,maybe watch the whales and dolphins, or for the more adventurous there is great surfing kiteboarding fishing ,walking / running tracks, as well as fantastic mountain biking only 10klm away. Just 15min drive to Taree and 25 min to Foster we have 1 king bed 1 queen 3 singles and a koala queen sofa lounge bed & 2 bathrooms.

Our cottage is a 2 bedroom, unique cottage, sitting atop a hill of 100 undulating acres and boasting views once enjoyed by the old observatory that stands beside it. The cottage is a 30-35 minute drive to the gorgeous Forster/Tuncurry so whilst enjoying the serenity of a rural property you also have pristine beaches so close - best of both worlds !! 10 mins to the quaint village of Nabiac, vintage shops, homewares, cafe, pub, pool, tennis court and wineries close by.

With 500m of river frontage spend your time swimming, kayaking, fishing and catching a glimpse of the platypus. Enjoy meals inside or outside, at the bar table enjoying a view while you eat! Lenoroc is a 101 acre (40 Ha) farm 15 minutes drive west of Wingham at Charity Creek on the road to Mount George. Your accommodation is in separate cottage, with Queen Bed in Bedroom 1, Two King Singles in Bedroom 2. Enjoy the swimming pool and gardens and see the Cattle grazing over the fence. Our guests can walk or 4WD (yours) over the farm, or simply relax on the wrap-around deck watching the cattle, and weird Guinea Fowl .

Bowarra Farmstay on the Manning River

Bowarra is an 85 hectare biodynamic beef farm 12 minutes from Wingham and 30 mins from Taree, Saltwater and Old Bar beach. Bounded by the Manning river and Burrell Creek guests have access to plenty of freshwater activities. The house offers a peaceful and secluded stay complete with inside fire and outdoor fire pit. You are welcome to interact with us and our cows, goats, ducks and chickens. Pets permitted by request.
