Our cottage is a base camp from which to enjoy the beauty of the north woods. Plan your winter to snowmobile, ice fish, downhill or cross-country ski and hike. In summer make it a get-a-way for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or ATVing. Venture out to the numerous waterfalls, hike the Ottawa National Forest or Sylvania Wilderness, view the scenic Porcupine Mountains, drive through the Keweenaw peninsula. ** Note - This wonderful northwoods cabin rents for a minimum of 3 consecutive nights. ** Your own private guest cabin on 6 private acres overlooking crystal clear Big Portage Lake. Sand beach, canoes, kayak, great lake views! Refrig, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, but no kitchen (great restaurants nearby). Come and go as you please. Host is usually on property, residing in main house. Kids over 8 years welcome. NO pets, jet-skis, ATVs, fireworks, loud music or powerboats, please.

Sasquatch Shores: Cozy Lakeside Cabin on Star Lake

Resting on Star Lake and tucked into the north woods, this tiny home offers the tranquility you need to completely decompress. The Sasquatch Shores cabin is right on Star Lake, a quiet no wake lake that gives you the peace and quiet you want. Watch the sunset off of the dock or cast a line into the water! The cabin is also situated right on the ATV trail. The main offers a King sized bed and the guest room offers a Queen/Twin Loft bed. There is also sectional couch as a sleeping option!

Our cabin is located in the heart of the Nicolet national forest on 37.5 acres It boarders on two sides creating a beautiful and very peaceful setting. Once inside you will feel warm and comfortable while being able to see all the beauty nature has to offer through all the windows over looking the property. Plenty of space in the kitchen to prepare a meal or relax on the deck while grilling. Relax by the camp fire or cool off in the pond. Snowmobile and atv trails through back of property.

There are two public boat landings and Eagle Lake Park within 1.5 miles and is also located on the snowmobile and atv/ utv trail.
