Stylish Guesthouse in Historic Building near Audubon Park

The interior design and furnishing is modern, but accent walls and other features are constructed of original materials. The guest house has a full kitchen and includes a Keurig coffee maker with pods. The living room has a 55 inch TV and the bedroom has a 32 inch TV. The queen sized bed is a 12 inch memory foam mattress - very comfortable. The Guest House has central air and heat. The bathroom has a lovely glass tile shower. Ceiling height peaks at 13 feet. The Guest House is located in rear of the property. The neighborhood is very safe and the Guest House is particularly safe and secure. I live in the main house and will be available to assist with guest needs. The guesthouse is tucked away behind a gorgeous "shotgun" house and is located in one of the city's most desirable neighborhoods. An urban walker's paradise, it's steps from Magazine Street with its great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The Magazine Street bus is accessible steps from the Guest House. The St. Charles Street car line is a 10 minute walk down State Street. The neighborhood is quite walkable and bike friendly. Please take a look at my house manual. It has many tips for navigating the house and the neighborhood. There is plenty of free parking on the street but no off-street parking.

Steph's Cozy Apartment -newly renovated

Our newly renovated apartment has all you need to enjoy a nice trip to south Louisiana. Kitchen and bath is equipped with pots, pans, spices, cutlery, utensils, dishes, and even light breakfast items. Bath has all towels and toiletries available for use. Our apartment is located upstairs above our carport but has its own private entrance along with own air conditioner/heating system. Our place will sleep 5 comfortably. We offer an Ice Machine to help with those fishing trips and local travels.

Just 2 blocks off Magazine St and a stone’s throw to Jefferson Avenue, this was a neighborhood corner store from its original construction in 1910 through sometime in the 1990’s. Short walk to Whole Foods, Guy’s & Domilises’s Po-Boys, Clancy’s, Patois and the best of Magazine St shopping. Quick Uber ride to the Quarter, Audubon Park, Tulane and Jazz Fest. With the return of traditional parade routes along Magazine St., this a fantastic spot to enjoy them.

Iga Grocer turn Airbnb

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space 2/story old Iga Grocer converted w/sleeping quarters upstairs and game recreation area downstairs. Pool table, foosball, 2 video game machines and corn hole avail for family, friends and corporate entertainment. Upstairs area is large enough for up to 12 people. If you are needing to accommodate more than that we have an extra bedroom/bath downstairs for an additional charge.
