Misty Mountain Hut-Ruapehu is located in the sleepy little village of Rangataua, 5 minutes distance to Mountain road going up to the Turoa skifield and Ohakune. The 1 bedroom colonial villa has a beautiful view of the mountain. Unlimited wifi and a new firebox with plenty of firewood and a heat pump ensure you are warm in winter. My favourite time here is summer for amazing walks/cycling up mountains to enjoy majestic views. Misty Mountain Hut supports local staff by paying $40/hr for cleaning.

It's a 15min walk (3 minutes by car) to the centre of Feilding where the farmers markets are held on Fridays. 7-minute drive to Manfeild Park 16-minute drive from Palmerston North airport. Ride, roam relax at our mountain bike park. Maximum peace and quiet on top of a hill with nothing but views. Once you have finished relaxing you can go for a mountain bike ride and choose from 20 tracks. Cold? No problem, the fire will be set up ready to light upon arrival. Cheese board and wine supplied when you arrive and a breakfast basket of locally sourced/ NZ made produce all included in your stay. Don't forget your togs for the hot tub with an incredible view.

Escape to Marton and relax with beautiful garden views. Unwind and disconnect. The unit is a private guesthouse situated on a working farm, which is fully self contained and 5 minutes drive from Marton town. Continental breakfast supplies provided.
