Beautiful Waterfront Cottage is conveniently located 2.5 hours from the GTA (20 mins from Parry Sound). This Cottage has a gorgeous lake view with a private beach, dock and deep water for swimming. Guests have access to kayaks, life jackets, noodles, as well as outdoor sports equipment for volleyball, badminton, tetherball, boccia ball, soccer, and football. Cottage has a fire place, BBQ and fire pit. Play a round of exceptional golf at The Ridge at Manitou golf course located right on the lake.

Whether travelling solo or as a couple or small family group, enjoy a taste of yesteryear while staying in our 1912 cottage, right on the banks of the Grand River in old Paris. Watch kayakers pass by on the river from the window of your spacious and sunlit suite, or take in the old-fashioned street view from the covered front porch. Want to experience Frankenmuth in the best way? How about a room in a bed and breakfast in the heart of town. "Dawdy Haus" is Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish) for "Grandpa's House". When the kids have grown and the house becomes too big, it becomes time to turn it over to a child that has their own growing family. The Amish often build a new house for the grandparents - with a guest room or two. This is known as the "dawdy haus". This is our dawdy haus! we look forward to sharing it with you!

This is not a luxury one, but a cozy "cave" for relaxation, meditation, etc. or simply a quiet and convenient place for travellers, workers, students to stay and enjoy breakfast from 7:45 am to 10:00 am (no special diets). We're across the street from the beach and a short stroll from Main St. A home cooked breakfast is included!
