Cozy apartment & sauna in the center of Saariselkä

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Mökki , oma ranta ja ulkoporeallas

Mökki metsän keskellä, oma ranta. Inariin matkaa n. 10km. Sähköt on, ei vesijohtovettä. Omasta kaivosta tulee kylmä vesi saunalle, josta saa juomaveden ja pesuvedet. Pesu-ja tiskivesi pitää lämmittää. Kompostikäymälä piharakennuksessa. Majoittujalla tulee olla kokemusta mökkeilystä paikassa missä ei ole vesijohtovettä eikä sisävessaa sekä pitää osata lämmittää puilla sauna. Omat liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet tulee ottaa mukaan. Kesällä paljun käyttö sisältyy vuokraan sekä soutuvene. Tie perille.

Peaceful log cabin by the lake Inari

Come to relax for Metsola. Very peaceful log accommodation located next to the lake Inari. Main building, sauna room, hut and storage. A parking lot and pier at lake. Dry toilet away from main building, no running water but in summer a tube from the spring. 12V electricity from the battery for lighting and usb-charging. If necessary, 230V electricity with generator. The kitchen has a gas stove and a 12V refrigerator or a small gas refrigerator. The cabin is heated with a fireplace and stove.

Mökkimme sijaitsee ainutlaatuisessa rauhallisessa paikassa, järven rannalla. Lapin erämaiden läheisyydessä. Se on silti saavutettavissa helposti autolla. Mökkimme lämmössä on helppo rentoutua ja nauttia luonnon kauneudesta suurien ikkunoiden alati vaihtuvassa maisemassa. Nauttia hiljaisuudesta ja seurata luonnon kulkua. Ihailla revontulia. Piipahtaa pilkille keväisin. Kesäisin voi kalastaa, soudella järvellä tai pulahtaa uimaan omasta rannasta. Nyt myös grillikota-sauna käytössänne.

Norcota- Blockhaus mit Auroraskylight

Du buchst ein traditionelles Blockhaus inmitten der unberührten Natur Finnlands, mit direktem Zugang zum Fluss. Der moderne Innenausbau bietet dir allen Komfort. Hier findest du Ruhe und Zeit zur Erholung – sei es vor dem knisternden Kaminfeuer oder in der separaten Sauna mit Panoramafenster. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die kleine Galerie, auf der du unter einem Dachfenster übernachten kannst. Von hier aus lassen sich die Nordlichter ganz bequem und wohlbehütet im Warmen bestaunen.

This cottage might look too good to be true - but it's real! Our log cabin called Savu is located just next to the beautiful, rocky, fishy and pure lake Ukko as you can see in pictures. Savu is furnished with style by Finnish design. You can chill along fireplace and check aurora borealis from your own pier. Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.

Moderni, massiivipuusta valmistettu ja hyvin varusteltu huvila Kiilopää-tunturin juurella. Rauhallinen sijainti, jossa hyvät ulkoilumahdollisuudet retkeilyyn, hiihtämiseen ja pyöräilyyn, Soveltuu hyvin pariskunnalle, perheelle tai ystäväporukalle, ja erityisesti omatoimimatkailijoille. Varustevuokraamo ja Tunturikeskus Kiilopää kävelyetäisyydellä. Alle 20min autolla Saariselän laskettelurinteisiin, ja muihin palveluihin, 10min kävelymatka Urho Kekkosen Kansallispuistoon.

Private log cabin by the lake of Inari

This private little cottage is located next to the lake of Inari, but also only just 15 minutes drive away from the center of Ivalo. Beautiful lake and fell scenery opens straight away from the front door and sauna. Cottage has modern equipments for cozy living, a fireplace and wood-heated sauna. During the evenings you can hear huskies howling few kilometers away and hopefully spot the auroras dancing above the lake. Entrance to bathroom through cold veranda.

Hirsimökki Inarin Partakossa, Siuttajoen rannalla

Siuttajoen rannalla, omassa rauhassa Inarin Partakossa, autenttinen ja tunnelmallinen hirsimökki. Kodikkaassa tuvassa takka, leivinuuni ja kamina. Kaasuliesi ja minijääkaappi. Saunan löylyjä kehuttu, samoin viihtyisää grillikotaa. Kesällä vesi pumpulla kaivosta. Talvella kantovesi joesta. Mökin lämmittämiseksi on osattava käyttää takkaa ja kaminaa. Sähköverkkoa ei ole, mutta aggregaatti ja aurinkovoimala akustolla toimivat osaavan vuokralaisen käsissä.
