The chalet is located one mile from Amish market, and coffee shop. Just minutes from multiple trailheads in the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness. Luxury rustic accents throughout with high speed internet. The space The Selah Chalet is furnished with brand new custom made rustic furniture. Guests appreciate the craftsmanship within the cabin as well as the quiet and peaceful atmosphere the location provides. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire chalet including washer and dryer.

Our rustic cabin is set among the cedar trees on the Kootenai River. Enjoy a private courtyard, right on the river! With the promise of hospitality. Enjoy the river from a covered deck with a bar. there is a fire pit on the deck, with one free bundle of wood. Rustic, cozy, ensuite bathroom & shower. We took a unique approach to appeal to your unconventional side. This cabin has stairs to the river. There are bicycles and a sauna available on campus. Upon arrival, read the house manual.

Stoney Lonesome Retreat

Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

Nestle in and explore the natural beauty Libby and the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness has to offer.
