Sitting less than 30-feet from the sandy bottom of Bass Lake, this house is a charmer in all seasons. In the winter months, enjoy snowshoeing across the lake and come home to a cozy fire. A beautifully appointed cottage in the middle of Michigan's Leelanau county wine country. Suttons Bay is five minutes away and downtown Traverse City is 10 minutes. The Leelanau bike trail is just down the road for all of you bicycle enthusiasts. Our place is a great central point for excursions to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Kayaking on the Crystal River, having a meal in historic Fishtown, wine tasting, ciders and breweries and so many more unique things to do on the Leelanau peninsula.

Applewood Cottage is a true "Up North" retreat within walking distance to the Village of Northport. 2 bedrooms (queen in each) and sleeper sofa in living room. Inside beautiful knotty pine walls and ceilings; gas fireplace, full kitchen. Outside a large patio overlooking the woods with gas grille. Barrier free. Applewood and its sister cabin, the Cherrywood, are attached properties. Rent both for a larger event! They are part of the Homewood Cottage Association.

A short drive to town will give you access to restaurants, groceries, breweries and wineries. Dogs are welcome! Please message us to discuss bringing more than 1. Absolutely no cats or other pets are allowed. We do not have a TV, but we do have fiber optic high speed internet.

Idyl Daes Cottage was built in the 1950s on the Tunnel of Trees Scenic Heritage Route which follows Lake Michigan’s stunning shoreline to Cross Village. It is located two miles from downtown Harbor Springs and is close to a number of spectacular beaches and hiking trails. The large field stone fireplace is perfect for cool evenings and the spacious screened porch is ideal for relaxing summer evenings with lake breezes.

Our two bedroom lakeside cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood, just on the edge of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Explore one of the nearby Lake Michigan beaches or trails, or enjoy our lakeside cabin in the evenings. Feeling social? Beulah and Empire are 15 minutes from the cottage, while Frankfort and Glen Arbor are about 20 minutes away. There are several great restaurants, and breweries nearby.
