Welcome to Nordico Point. Since 1984 our family has enjoyed the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Our private 4.5 acres w/1200' of lakeshore reminds us of some of the most beautiful BWCA campsites that we have stayed at. Nordico Point aims to provide a similar experience for those who still desire a wilderness experience but no longer want to portage or sleep on the ground. And paddling is 100% voluntary. PS - you can launch a boat, too - small boat(16ft max - just no wake board boats allowed;)

So many outdoor activities nearby to enjoy ~ golfing, ATV trails, hiking, biking, wolves, bears, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing to name a few. Birch River runs into twenty mile long Birch Lake known for its wilderness beauty and trophy northern pike and walleyes.

Grandpa's Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat, offering ample space for trailers and trucks. A public boat launch literally right next to the driveway, you can launch your boat for a week of fishing, cruising or tubing any day of the summer. In the winter use the ice road to take your snowmobile right onto the lake trails or drive down the plowed ice road to one of Vermilions best ice fishing spots. With many other trails and golf courses near by this is a year round outdoor paradise.
