Our house has all the comforts of home with beautiful open vistas visible out each window. This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. The Gate House is a renovated 150 year old log building with 2 single beds, in floor heating, bathroom with shower & kitchenette with hot plate, toaster oven, coffee maker, small fridge & microwave, dining & sitting area. The kitchen accessories seen in the photos are what is provided. We ask that you not bring your own dish soap, to protect our ecosystem we will provide it. BEDDING IS NOT PROVIDED PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS AND BLANKETS.

This rustic, handmade treehouse is built right over the rapids of the mighty Mississippi river in Lanark County, in the Canadian province of Ontario. The glamping treehouse is nestled among oaks and cedars, 22 feet off the ground at its highest point but still easily accessible with a walk-in entrance from the ground floor. There is also a 6 person hot tub available.
