The Crofter's House, Isle of Skye

The Crofter's House is a traditional Scottish croft house that has been renovated to create a calm and peaceful retreat in the wild landscape of the Isle of Skye. Situated beside Camustianavaig Bay, the house enjoys a rural location, yet is only five miles from Portree. The house has been featured in a number of publications including Elle Decoration, Conde Nast Traveller, Time Out, and Homes & Interiors Scotland. NB: the five-mile road to Camustianavaig is a single track (tarmac) road.

Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Cottage has, games ,books, picnic basket and a airfyer .Dark Skies. Excellent area for getting off the beaten track close enough to Leverburgh for trips to St Kilda and all other amenities. Cottage on the shoreline with lovely bay. The east side of Harris is single track roads with passing places.

It's a great base to explore Harris from - an easy, beautiful drive to the West Coast - or up to North Harris and beyond. But it's also a terrifically tranquil cottage with large garden and beautiful views if you just want to relax for a day or two instead in-between explorations.

Aird Cottage

A lovely cottage situated 10 miles out of the main town of Stornoway, in a quiet village with wonderful sea views. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the deck overlooking the sea and cosy up in the evening beside the wood burning stove. Perfect for a couple getaway. Having your own car would be ideal but regular public transport is available on your doorstep.
