Breakfast and dinner is optional (table d'hôtes). The domaine has 18 hectors with farm animals and forest. La gargouille est un gîte insolite, rénové dans une ancienne petite cave viticole au beau milieu des Corbières à l'extrémité d'un vieux village de 30 habitants; en pleine nature sur 5000 m² de terrain exposé sud donnant sur la garrigue d'où partent de nombreux sentiers de randonnées. La bâtisse est composée d'une ancienne cave viticole et d'une ancienne bergerie habité par les propriétaires. Les deux parties sont complètement indépendantes.

The gite adjoins our house and is situated in a green setting at the foot of the Montagne Noire, just outside a pretty Cathar village. In addition to a large landscaped garden, there is a secure parking space. This 35m2 gîte comprises a lounge, kitchen, shower room and bedroom. The flat has its own entrance leading onto a covered terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. The gîte stays cool in summer thanks to the vegetation.
