"Seashoy Courtyard" is a well preserved traditional courtyard house located on the beautiful Xiao Liuqiu, an island south of Gaoxiong. This clay brick walled courtyard retains the architectural style of "Siheyuan" (四合院), which literally means a courtyard surrounded by four buildings. Throughout Chinese history, the siheyuan composition was the basic pattern used for residences, palaces, temples, monasteries, family businesses and government offices. In ancient times, a spacious siheyuan would be occupied by a single, usually large and extended family, signifying wealth and prosperity. Situated south of the mouth of Kaoping River, Xiao Liuqiu is governed by Pingtung County and the only one coral island of Taiwan’s offshore islands. As most of the islanders make their living by fishing, Liuqiu is characterized by various goods of local fish specialties and a lifestyle of fishing village. The ground inclines gently towards northeast. There are odd coral rocks eroded by the sea alongside the coast, cliffs in the south and small rare sandy beaches on the western coast. Although Liuqiu, the only coral island of Taiwan’s offshore islands, is covered with limestone, the coral substances can be easily found anywhere. The coral creatures lived together and secreted calcium substances which deposited and then composed coral reefs. Generation after generation, coral creatures adhered to the dead ones and gradually made up coral reefs with limestone. The well known tourist attractions composed of coral with limestone on the island are Black Dwart Cave, Beauty Cave, Sanzu Ditch, etc.

English speaking friendly and the Bunk bed room is perfectly designed for divers to stay in, they can dry their equipment in the outdoor rack or backyard. Living room with tatami, 50 inch TV to share.

你好！我們的民宿位於大鵬灣灣域周邊，距離跨海大橋、賽車場僅需要不到10分鐘的車程，也非常適合在夕陽下騎我們提供的免費單車兜兜風。 如果你搭乘客運，站牌也離民宿非常近，只要搭乘至東港分局公車站牌下車，民宿就在你眼前的國小後方。 若你想到風光明媚的小琉球，渡船碼頭也很近，距離民宿也僅有10分鐘左右的車程，另外著名的華僑市場也在渡船碼頭旁邊而已！ 另外每週三、週六也有東港夜市可以逛逛，或者天天營業的東港溪畔咖啡街，都是夜晚的好去處！

你一定會著迷於這個迷人住處裡有品味的裝潢。窩厝位於夏琉新館旁，誕生於 2021疫情期間，歷經七個月，終於接近想像中的樣子。民宿是半開放空間，以兩座樓梯，分散出入口，外觀沉黑搭配手作木頭門點綴，階梯式設計，讓前面三間房都能看到海景。一樓則是以碎石造景，創造悠閒感。 房間位於二樓第四間，兩張床併在一起，適合有小孩的家庭，外面有獨立小陽台，比較寧靜有隱私，房間外欄杆處有兩張椅子。 ＊由於一樓石子路設計，不建議帶大型行李箱。 若需詢價，歡迎直接私訊我們詢問，會比較優惠唷！
