The Old Farmhouse (Trossachs) - Achray Farm

Achray Farm is a working smallholding / goat farm and ice-cream maker in the Trossachs. We offer holiday let stays in The Old Farmhouse & The Cake House (sleeps 4). Old Farmhouse was renovated in 2019 to create bright, spacious accommodation whist retaining original features, along with a wood burning stove and complimented by 300Mbs fibre WiFi & biomass heating. Our location is the perfect start for walking, cycling & touring the area right from the door and walking distance from the tearoom.

Appletree Cottage is a cosy, bright, newly built cottage on a quiet back road in Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has four en-suite bedrooms and biomass heating throughout. The spacious open-plan living area has underfloor heating, and large picture windows offer stunning views south, across open countryside. Situated a small apple farm, Appletree is perfectly located for walking, golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, boating, riding, wildlife spotting and the local village cafe.

Buzzard is a cosy, dog-friendly barn conversion with original stone walls, a wood-burning fire, and a luxurious wood-fired hot tub, perfect for couples, or a family with children over 5 yrs. From the farm, enjoy beautiful views of the Menteith Hills and the Lake of Menteith, and stunning walks right from your door. The 'Stable Cottage' comprises of a fully-equipped kitchen living area downstairs and en-suite bedroom upstairs. The cottage was originally part of the traditional farm steading which has been renovated aiming to retain the character of the original building, with features such as the oak staircase, belfast sink and wood burning stove. The cottage comfortably sleeps 2 and being located within Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park there are a variety of activities available to guests.

This modern space sleeps 4 people comfortably. It’s veranda is perfect for watching the sunset over Loch Lomond. We are situated in front of Garabhan Forest, Drymen -the perfect spot for exploring. Our location is fantastic for mountain bike trails and hiking. You can access both directly from The Nest so no need to get in the car to explore! If you are looking to experience Loch Lomond we are under 10 minutes drive to the shore at Balmaha.

The sofa pulls down to provide a small bed, but we recommend this is for a 1 or 2 small children, or if someone can't sleep/partner snores!
