Delightful chalet overlooking Strathtay

We look forward to sharing our lovely chalet with you. If the weather is fine you will wake up to fabulous views across the valley. There are several good walks right from the chalet, and once down the track the possibilities for walks or spectacular places to visit are endless. The dirt track is about 2 miles (3kms) long, and all uphill. All types of family car can make the drive with care. Not suitable for motorbikes or EV's. Due to the chalet being timber construction BBQ's are not allowed.

Wisteria Garden

The pet friendly self contained unit is a detached annexe, internal dimensions are 6m x 4m with an open plan living area. Set amidst beautifully Japanese gardens, it has modern amenities having been completed in May 2022. The guest house is ideally located in Central Scotland with motorway access to all areas North, South, East and West, 5 minutes drive from the location. The railway station at Falkirk High with a journey time of 20 minutes to both Glasgow and Edinburgh is a 10 minute drive.

Spacious lodge with king sized bed

The lodge is open plan with plenty of space and has its own private driveway, front door, living area, fully fitted kitchen and shower room. Tea and coffee is supplied for your comfort. Take advantage of the decking area, experience 360 degree peaceful views of Dun Leacainn and surrounding hills while watching the wildlife and capture great memories. On a clear evening the stars fill the sky. The walks directly around the lodge are full of history and stunning views including a waterfall.

The Wee Glasshouse

The Wee Glasshouse is a modern, studio apartment in the picturesque coastal location of Dalgety Bay. It’s designed to enjoy breathtaking views of the bridges and is situated on the Fife Coastal Path with its many beaches and woodlands. The Wee Glasshouse has features similar to our own house which was filmed for More 4’s ‘Building The Dream’. TV Presenter Charlie Luxton visited several times to record its progress and was aired in Jan 2017. In 2020 it featured in Scotland’s Home of the Year.

The Bothy - your unique luxury refuge

We welcome single nights, however many guests regret not booking longer.

This cabin sits overlooking the uninterrupted views of Loch Long & its mountain backdrop with access to our private beach. Ideal for those who enjoy walks, fishing, cycling & relaxing in the country. With the abundance of wildlife (jumping fish, sunbathing seals & daily visits of a local resident goose) you won't find it dull. Great base to explore Scotland, 45 minute drive from Glasgow Airport, located within the "Loch Lomond and The Trossachs" National Park in Argyll & Bute.

Cosy countryside retreat with easy access to Edinburgh centre. Newly built. Log burning stove, super insulated, south facing with views to the fields Great local walks straight from the doorstep. We're at the foot of the Pentland Hills. 5 minutes walk to bus stop for Edinburgh (30 - 40 min ride). Or a 25 minute drive. 15 - 20 min drive to Edinburgh airport. Traffic free cycle path to Edinburgh. Shared garden and boot and utility room. Electric car charging at cost.

Darroch Garden Room #2 hot tub in Luss Loch Lomond

Luxury, en suite cabin with its own private hot tub. Includes light breakfast and tea/coffee in room. The contemporary retreat with its own private entrance and decked area is located overlooking Allt a’ Chaorach stream. The stylish interior includes vintage furniture, floor-to-ceiling windows and reclaimed wooden flooring. The room has a king-sized bed, walk-in shower and a drinks refrigerator. Fully heated for winter use and a patio door for summer comfort.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft has been turned into a light and airy flat above our stables. We live next to a path which takes you north to the Ochils or south to the beautiful Gartmore Water: perfect if you are a walker or a cyclist. The nearby village of Dollar has a castle, cafes, a pub and a restaurant. We are 40 minutes from Edinburgh airport, 25 minutes from Gleneagles Hotel, 20 minutes from Stirling and an hour from the centre of both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Coach House, Gourock

The Coach House, Gourock, is located in a quiet area a few minutes walk from the Main Street with shops, pubs and the train station. The Coach House is a charming space in a converted period building. There is private parking with electric charging point and outside seating area. Gourock is a convenient base for travel to Glasgow, Ayrshire, Argyll and the Western Isles. Licence issued by Inverclyde Council No. IN00021F

1 bedroom guest house with wood fired hot tub

The guest house has a double bed with en suite with a separate living area, with sofa, TV and table for 2. The sofa pulls down to provide a small bed, but we recommend this is for a 1 or 2 small children, or if someone can't sleep/partner snores! There is a kitchenette with breakfast provisions for your stay. A wood fired hot tub and private gated garden with stunning rural views is for your sole use. License no ST000931F

2 Bedroom Farm Annex Cottage

A lovely stone Annex, attached to the family home, in peaceful rural setting of 7 acres. Close to the sea with mountain views, it is the perfect place to start exploring Argyll's secret coast. The Annex has its own entrance, a double bedroom with ensuite, a twin room with a shower, family bathroom and a kitchen/lounge with a sofa bed.
