Looking for a "respite from reality"? Close enough to great restaurants and night life, but far enough away to enjoy relaxation at its finest! The beach is between 25 to 30 miles away and there are numerous beaches within that radius, including Hilton Head and Hunting Island. Of course, the cottage is right in front of a beautiful and peaceful coastal marsh. We’re also not far from Parris Island if it’s time to celebrate your special Marine! Riverbank Cottage on the Edisto River

Riverbank Cottage is situated on the banks of the Edisto River. Our 630 square foot cottage is freshly remodeled and waiting for your weekend get a way or summer fishing trip. Fish off the bank or bring your canoe, kayaks or small fishing boat to enjoy the river. There is a boat landing in the neighborhood and just down from the cottage. This is a studio cottage that sleeps up to 4. Sit on the screen porch and enjoy the sunrise and river views. Full kitchen and bathroom. No bedrooms.

Wildlife Cabin

Wildlife Cabin is set in a woodsy setting and was built as extra bedroom for our boys. Originally the cabin had a cute little porch on the front of it, but for privacy and convenience to our guests, we closed in the porch and made it into a small kitchenette. We call it Wildlife Cabin, not because you see so much wildlife. Our boys all liked to hunt, & one tried his hand at preserving the furs, so you will find a collection of wildlife in the cabin. Please be careful with them!

Out Aways House with a POOL on a POND

The Out Aways House offers idyllic country sights, sounds, and living. This house, situated on a point in a pond, offers it’s guests peace and tranquility. At night you can listen to the crickets and tree frogs sing. By day you can relax on the screened in porch and melt away your stress. The property is located less than an hours car ride from the airport in Augusta, GA and the airport in Columbia, SC. It is also located less than an hour away from Augusta National Golf Club.

Trails End

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars Just kick back and relax and enjoy the quiet setting lots of walking trails and even riding bicycle have your breakfast on the front porch or the gazebo close by this cabin has one queen size bed and a sofa bed suitable for 4 people please no pets or smoking. Also at least one guest needs to be registered with Airbnb thanks.have a hot shower and only 6 miles from town where you can find fast food places and a Walmart

Lazy Dog Acres “Mini Suite”

Relax by one of the 2 ponds with water features or on the patio. Take a walk around the pond with Isaac (Great Dane)as your guide on our 13 acres. Sorry no pets allowed! There is a a micro, fridge & coffee mkr in ur suite. Cook your meal in our shared kitchen. All linens are sanitized w/ high temp sanitizing wash. You have your own private entrance so come and go as you please! Airbnb designated parking. I live on the 2nd floor should u need assistance !

Clover Cottage is a cozy place to stay if you need a quiet place to unwind. Located on Main Street, Clover Cottage is walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. The cottage is a completely renovated property which started life as the summer kitchen for the main house. The cottage is 150 years old and has maintained the charm of a historic home. To retain the history of the property and town, NO SMOKING or VAPING is allowed on the property.

Our getaway is on the Edisto River, located on a secluded bluff with breath taking views overlooking the longest black river in SC . Relax to a quiet and peaceful evening on the deck while enjoying the hot tub. Perfect for couples celebrating a birthday or anniversary. Boat access available. Located only one hour from Charleston and an hour and a half from Columbia. No pets please. WE NOW HAVE WIFI!

Ellzey Place

Ellzey Place is a peaceful spot where you can relax and unwind. Enjoy having a cup of coffee on the deck facing a spacious private back yard. There are lots of azaleas that bloom in season and pines swaying in the breeze. It is a charming apartment attached to the owner's house but has a private deck and entrance. It has been newly remodeled and delightfully decorated.

Oak View

Enjoy having a cup of coffee relaxing in the swing on the front deck or sitting on the back deck facing the woods and watching the chickens pecking for food. Or take a stroll down the lane and inspect the muscadine/scuppernong vines and enjoy luscious grapes and figs in season. Enjoy a slice of country life on 2 1/2 acres.
